“The world is full of doubt and fear and darkness; Uncertainty is tearing us apart.” Doesn’t this speak to all our hearts? Our choir will sing these lyrics, but more importantly, our God will ease these worries in our hearts. Today we celebrate the Reformation, an event focused on peace and confidence in the face of fear, doubt, and darkness. We stand unashamed before our God, knowing he has loved us with no other cause than his desire to. We are the forgiven saints of God, protected by his strength and surrounded by his grace. Our worth is no less than the life of God himself. For Jesus laid down his life so we can stand without guilt or shame. These truths we celebrate today and every day we live as children of God.
